Dr. Udo Maier

Dr. Udo Maier is Managing Partner at NGS Global. He co-founded NGS Global's operations in Europe and is a member of the firm´s Global Operating Commitee. He leads the Technology Practice in EMEA and is an active member of the global Industrial Practice.
He advises managing directors, board members and owners on a cross-sector basis in the search for executive positions with a focus on industrial and technology companies. A further focus of his work is the recruitment of senior executives in (top) management consultancies.
Dr. Maier was awarded as the Leading Recruitment Partner in the area Professional Services by Wirtschaftswoche, a leading German economic magazine.
Career
Dr. Maier spent his early career as a strategy consultant for a leading global management consultancy and was subsequently Managing Director within the Primus-Online Group (Metro Group). Until 2014, Dr. Maier served as Managing Partner at GEMINI Executive Search.
Education
After completing an apprenticeship in banking and studies in Business Administration, Dr. Maier earned a doctorate at the University of Bayreuth.
