Chief Digital Officer | Multinational Healthcare Provider and Hospital Network
NGS Global led a successful search for a strategically focused Chief Digital Officer (CDO) for a premium healthcare and hospital network with 77,000 staff and 8.5 million patients annually in more than ten countries.
Background
Our client had well-developed technical facilities, competent clinical and information technology staff, and very good CIOs in each of the markets in which it operates. However, the use and deployment of operational, patients and systems data was uneven across different geographies and departments.
The Need
They were seeking to appoint a senior executive with both extensive business savvy and technical nous who would work closely with the executive and board to explore, facilitate and enable a company-wide next generation digital transformation.
Strategy and Approach
With our mature and informed understanding of the commercial and technological imperatives required of the role, NGS Global conducted original research and utilized our valuable network to source a list of exceptional potential candidates.
We then worked very closely with the client to identify the candidates that best met the extensive range of selection criteria, including transformation and change experience, diagnostic, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, technical savvy and vision, commercial and business leadership acumen, as well as organizational culture and values alignment.
Outcome
The successful candidate was a stellar fit for the organization, and the project met the tight timeline that the client needed.
